Tea Tree Oil Scrub

I love scrubs and I love tea tree oil! I couldn't wait to try out this Tree Tree Oil Body & Foot Scrub from First Botany Cosmeceuticals! My feet can get dry and I've had the tiniest bit of toenail fungus on the corner of one nail for over 5 years. I've been trying everything to combat that stupid fungus. I figured I'd give this a shot, since the other benefits of helping moisturize and battle stinky feet, plus being able to use it on face and body as well makes this scrub super versatile!

This scrub is a mixture of salts and oils. The tea tree scent is almost non-existent, there really isn't much of any scent in the container. The mixture is pretty dry, yet not very coarse. I like it. I scoop some out and apply it to damp skin, otherwise it will just fall right off of the area you put it on. I notice the oils once I rub it in. After applying to my feet in the shower I try to be careful to not slip. It's not incredibly oily, but my feet end up a bit slick after. 

That stubborn bit of toenail fungus does seem to have gotten even smaller, so I will continue to use this on my feet daily. My feet are also super soft and smooth, which I love. I haven't tried this scrub on my face yet, but I have on my arms and legs. It does a great job getting rid of dry skin and leaving my body feeling moisturized. I give this scrub 4 out of 5 stars. I wish it had a bit more of a tea tree scent, but otherwise it's great. I would recommend it to anyone that has foot problems or those who like scrubs.

Thermalabs Exfoliating Gloves

I love all things natural, so I was wicked excited to try out these exfoliating gloves. Nothing feels better then a good scrub to get rid of all the dirt and dead cells off of your body right? This set came with three gloves, all made of different materials...Plus a Bonus Finger Exfoliator! 

Also included, is a printed in-depth guide to help you exfoliate like a pro.

It is loaded with information about each glove, care instructions, tip, tricks, and all kinds of other secrets to beautiful skin. It's a great addition to the set because it is so informative.

I hand washed each glove gently before using them. The loofah glove held up fine, but the sisal and jute ones already had bits coming loose, or falling off. Each glove fit my right hand well, but because they are one sided you could scrub everything but your right arm. If you are a lefty, you would probably be doomed...

The Bamboo Fiber 
and Loofah glove was said to be the best for dry skin because it holds the most moisture. The outside of the glove was fine. It was smooth and pretty soft, but the inside of the loofah glove was very sharp and hurt my hand. I took it off almost immediately. I was able to finish up by holding the glove in my hand like a cloth instead of as a glove, because the cloth backing protected my skin. I would not use this one again. 

The Sisal glove is the rougher, sturdier of the set. I was a bit nervous to try it because I have sensitive skin. It wasn't too rough, but a lot of fibers were falling off and sticking to me. It was rough on the inside, but not sharp like the loofah. 

The Jute glove was definitely my favorite, it is the one best for sensitive skin after all. It was a strange texture. Not soft, not rough. I was able to use some soap with it, so I could cleanse and exfoliate together. I will continue to use the Jute glove, maybe the Sisal...but I'm tossing the Loofah one.

Believe it or not, the Finger Exfoliator was my favorite out of the whole set. It doesn't look very comfy in the photo, but it not hard or rough. It's actually made of a soft fabric with some stretch. I have used it every day with a facial cleanser and I absolutely love it! It definitely made up for 2 of the gloves being sub par.  

I give this set 3 out of 5 stars. If you could buy them separate I would totally buy the Jute Mitt and the Finger Exfoliator. I would recommend them if you have tougher skin...unfortunately I do not, so half of this set is too rough for me.

ExfoliMATE!

Move over Loofah...I have a new shower buddy and it's the ExfoliMATE! At first, this exfoliating cloth doesn't seem all that special. It's just a strip of fabric, albeit leopard print.

I added some body wash,  held opposite ends of the cloth in each hand and scrubbed back and forth from different angles and my back has never felt better!

This thing lathers like crazy! After scrubbing my back, I balled the cloth up and used it like a loofah pouf all over the rest of my body. It worked perfectly, even on my sensitive skin. It gently removed all the dead skin, dirt, and oil. After my shower all of my skin felt super clean, smooth, and soft. It was like magic. As someone with short arms, chronic pain, and backne...this cloth is seriously a godsend. 

I am totally trading out my loofah for the ExfoliMate. It works great, it's super versatile, washable, and you can even fold it up and take it with you when you travel. I give it 5 out of 5 stars and would recommend it to anyone that wants smooth skin.

I was surprised by how much I liked this product. I never thought I could wipe my face with a cotton pad and be satisfied with the level of cleanliness. Garnier Micellar Cleasing Water was so simple to use. I was nervous about putting it near my eyes, but it didn't sting or anything. Amazing! It wiped off my foundation and dark eye shadow and mascara so effortlessly. It also left my skin feeling, clean, fresh, and soft. And no rinsing needed!! No sink? No Problem! It has no fragrance, which was great. I have sensitive skin, and I had zero redness and no irritation. There is even a cleanser for waterproof makeup. I loved this product and would definitely recommend it. I give it 5 out of 5 stars. 

CLEARLY BRIGHTER BRIGHTENING & SMOOTHING DAILY MOISTURIZER SPF 15:

Pros: This moisturizer went on easily, and even better my make up went on top of it like a dream!! I've never put make up over a better lotion or sunscreen before. My skin started to look brighter and smoother in less than 2 weeks. Cons: I did not enjoy the scent. It smells a lot like sunscreen, and yes it is SPF 15 so that is to be expected. I just have a highly sensitive sense of smell. I also have very sensitive skin, so the lotion did sting my face for an hour or so after application, but it dissipated. I will continue to use this lotion though, especially in the summer months when I just learn to deal with the smell of sunblock for the benefits of it. I will see if I can get used to the slight sting because this does make my skin look and feel great in the long run, and I LOVE putting my make up over it. It is such a great base. I would totally recommend it to anyone without sensitivities, and even if you are sensitive, it is worth a try. I give the moisturizer 4 out of 5 stars.

Maple Holistics Natural Argan Oil Shampoo

Let's start off with my hair. I have dry, brittle, thin, frizzy, damaged hair that's a bit past my shoulders in length. I have colored it every single color you can think of starting at age 14. I also have health issues that impact my hair in a negative way. I also have sensitive skin, so it is great to find products that are not irritating! 

I received a sample of this Argan Oil Shampoo in exchange for my honest review, and it is seriously the best thing I have ever put in my hair. I am not exaggerating at all. Seriously, I can't stop playing with my hair...and I've never wanted to do that because my hair usually looks and feels pretty yucky. After only a few uses my hair looks hydrated, it is soft, the frizz has calmed down, and I have some volume for this first time in my life! 

This shampoo lathers up great but has a very light scent, barely any smell at all. Usually I love how shampoo make my hair smell, but it looks and feels so amazing, I don't even care. Not to mention the fact that it probably doesn't have a strong smell because it is made with natural ingredients, another thing that I absolutely love!

I love face masks. I'd do one everyday if I could. This mask is wonderful. It is a nice, thick clay mask with a delicious fresh, fruity scent. It is super easy to apply, just take a scoop of the clay and apply it to your face and leave it on for 15-30 minutes. It hardens up and then washes away easily with warm water. It is recommended that you rub it off in a circular motion to use the fibers in the mask to exfoliate.

This is the best scrub ever. I have very sensitive skin and this cool gel didn't irritate it at all. It gently cleansed my face. I loved the fresh citrusy scent. Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask by Valentia

This mask is pretty awesome. It is a nice thick gel which is different from every other mask I have tried. It has a pleasant, gentle scent that I can't quite put my finger on, but it is fresh and calming. I applied a small amount, a little went a long way, and let it sit for 30 minutes. The directions mentioned it may tingle, but I did not feel anything. I removed it easily with a washcloth and warm water.

I love that this mask is made with natural ingredients. Valentia is awesome like that. Some of the important ones include Japanese Green Tea, Aloe Vera, Rosehip Seed Oil, and Sea Buckthorn Oil which is one of my most favorite things! The biggest problems I have with my skin include dryness, dullness, and redness. 

After using this mask twice a week for just 2 weeks I have noticed that my skin is more hydrated, more even toned, brighter, and supple. It has even left me with a bit of a glow. I would recommend this luxurious face mask and I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Dot & Dot Silicone Travel Bottles

These 3 oz. containers are amazing. You can fill them up with whatever you would like and toss them in your bag. This set came in a convenient zippered pouch which I keep them in when I travel, just in case for any reason a liquid leaks, but I have not had that problem.

The bottles color coded and also have labels that are interchangeable by just spinning the ring on the cap. I think that is just brilliant! They are super durable and made with silicone, so they are easy to wash. 

They are easy to fill, I even did so one handed in order to take a photo. The bottles are sheer, so you can see how much product is left in each. 

They have little suction cups on them, and while they are not recommended to be stored that way, the bottles did stay stuck on my shower wall well while I went about bathing. If you are in a bathroom with zero storage in the shower, then you should be able to just stick these up. Amazing! 

These bottles are so awesome that I am going to use them in my shower at home. I have a lot of trouble with opening and squeezing some containers, and these were so easy to open and to squeeze to dispense the products in them. I absolutely love them!

Lavender Lite Handmade Soap

I love all things natural, so naturally I was excited to try this handmade soap bar made with 100% pure essential oils. There is nothing artificial in this soap.

The main oils used include olive oil, palm oil, and my absolute favorite - coconut oil! 

I am obsessed with Lavender. The Lavender Lite scent is amazing, not overpowering and not too light. The bar is holding up well without falling apart. It lathers up well and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated, and I smell wonderful. 

This 4 oz bar of soap comes in a simple cardboard box with a delightfully simple list of ingredients. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
